Event series ‘The Archive of Ithaca’ (Ithaca, 25 September 2023)

The Ithacan Historical Society is pleased to launch a new event series, ‘The Archive of Ithaca’, in collaboration with the Centre of Maritime History of the Institute for Mediterranean Studies and the General State Archives of Ithaca (Γενικά Αρχεία του Κράτους – Τμήμα Ιθάκης)

A forum on the archive will take place in Ithaca on 25 September 2023 (in Greek), followed by online lectures on the collections of the archive from October 2023. Further details are given in the poster and programme below.

The lectures are presented in the context of work by the Centre of Maritime History towards research and classification of the nineteenth-century maritime documents at Ithaca.
